Dual-Purpose Collegiate Athletic Facilities with Overhead Doors

The Greenville University Baseball and Football Facilities project, located within the John Strahl Athletic Complex in Greenville, Illinois, includes two separate single slope structures designed to support the university’s baseball and football programs. Designed to accommodate a wide range of athletic and game-day needs, the buildings house locker rooms, meeting rooms, restrooms, weight rooms, and a dedicated baseball museum. Additional components of the overall complex include a press box, a concession facility, and new bleachers facing the football field and track, enhancing the spectator and event experience.

Opening toward the football field and track, the baseball facility incorporates overhead doors to accommodate equipment access and operational flexibility. Parapet walls add architectural definition to the buildings’ exteriors. Both structures feature Kirby’s R-Panel walls in Slate Gray paired with Kirby’s Standing Seam 360 roof system in Galvalume, delivering durability, performance, and a clean, modern aesthetic appropriate for a collegiate athletic environment.
