Large-Scale Industrial Plant Expansion with Loading Docks

This massive manufacturing plant is an expansion to an existing pre-engineered building that includes multiple large gable symmetrical structures, as well as several small single slopes. The facility features Kirby’s Standing Seam 360 roof system in Galvalume Plus paired with A-Panel walls in Fox Gray, creating a durable, high-performance exterior well suited for largescale industrial operations. Interior spaces were designed to support large production areas, warehousing, raw material bays, offices, meeting rooms, maintenance spaces, and essential electrical and process facilities. Kirby’s R-Panel wall liner protects and finishes the interior, while Metl-Span’s UL fire-rated ThermalSafe® firewall maximizes fire resistance performance, ensuring properties and people are safeguarded from inferno. Numerous below-eave canopies and a high volume of vertical lift and roll-up doors accommodate efficient material flow, including more than 50 new loading dock positions for receiving and shipping.

The project was executed under aggressive schedules that required close coordination with local authorities and extensive phasing to allow early equipment installation and startup. This expansion increases manufacturing capacity and positions First Quality for long-term growth and operational efficiency.
