Clear Span Community Event Center with Flexible Interior Space

Set along the shoreline of Creel Bay in Devils Lake, North Dakota, the Shores Event Center gives the community a 13,480 sf venue built for gatherings of every scale — weddings, banquets, conferences and celebrations. Two gable symmetrical framing systems carry the roof loads to the perimeter, eliminating interior structural support and freeing the floor plan for flexible event layouts.

That same clear span efficiency allowed for generous window openings around the building envelope, showcasing stunning lakefront views in three directions. The exterior features Surrey Beige panels by others with a Kirby Loc Seam roof in Charcoal, providing the weathertight performance and long-term durability demanded by the northern plains climate.
