Expansion with ClearBay Bolted Joist System

Legacy was started by two law school roommates who created the ultimate retro-inspired baseball cap. They are now a leading supplier of high-end headwear, apparel, and home decor for colleges and resorts across the U.S.. To keep up with manufacturing they chose a Kirby pre-engineered metal building for the addition at their Hanover, PA manufacturing and warehouse facility.

This 111,200 square foot expansion features Kirby’s ClearBay roof joist system, with fully bolted connections, which reduced the need for on-side welding during construction. It was designed with provisions for a future mezzanine and future expansion in mind.
