This educational complex for gifted learning features ten custom engineered steel buildings, built in three phases. The administration office building is a gable symmetrical design with a below-eave canopy across the front entrance. It includes a 700 sf partial mezzanine. All other buildings are single slope and lean-to design. The exterior is CMU, and include wind beams located on all sidewalls.
Galileo School is a K-8 FDOE-certified High-Performing Charter School. Galileo is one of only 12 schools from central Florida chosen to be part of the University of Central Florida Professional Development Schools Consortium. The school incorporates cutting-edge, research-based practices in a developmentally-appropriate environment of high challenge combined with high nurture.
