School Gymnasium Addition with Large Seating Capacity

The Calvary Christian School Gymnasium project in Verona, Kentucky was designed as a dedicated facility for athletic events and physical education classes serving the private PK–12 Christian school. The 70’ x 154’ symmetrical gable structure allows for 10,780 sf of space and was constructed as an addition to the school’s existing two story, conventionally steel-framed classroom building. The gymnasium features Kirby’s Standing Seam 360 roof system in Galvalume Plus. The exterior incorporates numerous windows providing natural light. Kirby supplied support beams for the basketball goals, ensuring long-term performance and safety.

Inside, the facility includes more than 550 spectator seats, high-end scoreboards, telescoping bleachers, and ADA flex rows, creating an inclusive and high-quality experience for students, athletes, and visitors. The project was a key component of the school’s Rise Up & Build campaign, supporting campus enhancements.
