Private University Student Building: Clear Span

Mount St. Mary’s University is a private, liberal arts, Catholic university in the Catoctin Mountains near historic Emmitsburg, MD. In order to have more space on campus for social activities and academic collaboration, the university chose a Kirby pre-engineered metal building for their multipurpose student venue.

The 6,000 square foot clear span, symmetrical gable designed building includes a 1,000 sf mezzanine, three exterior below-eave canopies and a small table and chair storage structure attached to the pre-engineered building. The facility also has rollup doors that can be opened in warmer weather to the patio area and lawn.
