Office Building with Clerestory

This 9,800 sf commercial office is home to Sanibel Glass in Fort Myers, FL. Needing a new facility due to hurricane destruction, impact glass specialists opted for a very modern and sleek structure. The building utilizes a clear span frame with a rafter extension to create the clerestory.

The front elevation features 140 linear feet of clerestory windows on the single-slope high side, casting natural light in the showroom below. Three roll-up doors on the northeast side provide easy access. Kirby’s Loc Seam 360 roof in midnight black and Kirby’s R-Panel walls in regal white accomplish the modern and contrasting look. A masonry and glass storefront with a canopy completes the aesthetic.
