Manufacturing Plant Steel Building Warehouse Expansion

Eastern Architectural Systems, a division of Eastern Metal Supply, fabricates aluminum and vinyl impact windows and doors rated for hurricane protection. They chose a Kirby building to expand their 172,000 sf facility located in Fort Myers, FL.

This 88,380 sf office and warehouse expansion ties into the existing building of the same width, height and roof slope. The exterior features the KirbyRib II wall panel system with 8’ masonry wainscot, and Kirby’s SS360 standing seam roof system.

Founded by Susie Walsh, Greg Weekes and Glen Magaldi in 1982, Eastern Metal Supply started with just five employees, and has grown to employ nearly 800. Their single Florida location has grown into 14 nation wide service centers and manufacturing facilities, totaling nearly 1.5 million square feet. These locations focus on the distribution and fabrication of aluminum extrusions and sheet products.
