Product Bulletin: Roofline Trim Refinement

To help reduce in-place costs for our customers, several roofline trim refinements were developed to improve performance, simplify installation, and enhance overall aesthetics. These updates include a low-profile ridge trim designed specifically for trapezoidal panels, a rake solution option that begins with a full-width starter panel and minimizes the number of fasteners required in the flat, and a redesigned low eave trim that conceals fasteners penetrating the eave plate for a cleaner appearance. Additionally, a new high eave solution enables the eave panel to extend to or even beyond the eave member, providing greater flexibility and improved protection during installation.

Rake Conditions:

Current Option — H2041, H2051, H2061
New Option — H2042, H2052, H2062
  • No more measuring of rake clip locations
  • Full-width starter panel at 0” location or current split starter panel if needed, before installation of the rake trim.
  • Less rake attachment fasteners through roof panel. Fastener spacing changed from 4” on center to 6” on center.
  • Both the current and new Rake Condition will remain available as options.

Low Eave Conditions:

  • Current Option — Non-Concealed
    New Option — Concealed

    New option will not show exposed fastener tips or secondary primer colors.

  • Both the current and new Low Eave Condition will remain available as options.

High Eave Conditions:

  • Current
    New Replacement

    New High Eave Condition helps prevent roof insulation from getting wet during potential rainstorms during the erection process prior to the high eave trim.

  • The current High Eave Condition will be phased out and no longer available.

Low Profile Ridge Cap:

Current Option — High Profile Ridge Cap
New Option — Low Profile Ridge Cap
  • The High Profile Ridge Cap and new Low Profile Ridge Cap will both remain available as options.

Additional Revisions:

  • We are now offering a no soffit option for canopies and extensions.
  • A-Panel and Reverse R-Panel Corner Conditions Revisions:
    Filler trims will only be supplied with panel ratings where water penetration prevention is required. “J” trim will be provided for all other conditions and will be hidden underneath the corner trim.
  • All instances of MAR01 angles will be converted to MAR26 angles.
