Nucor is the largest producer of steel in the United States. But more than a steel maker, we are the world’s foremost steel recycler, and one of the largest recyclers of any kind. We value the environment of the communities in which we operate, and recognize its importance to our employees, their families and continued welfare. Protecting the environment is critical to our operations and the company’s long-term success. To this end, we endorse these principles to demonstrate our commitment to the environment.
